2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Email address (for authentication and communication)
  • Name and company name
  • Account preferences and settings
  • Subscription plan and usage history

Business Data

When you use our platform, we process:

  • Lead data: Business information discovered through public sources (company names, websites, publicly available contact information)
  • Outreach content: Email drafts generated by AI and approved by you
  • Content drafts: Social media and blog content you create or that AI generates on your behalf
  • Integration credentials: API keys and tokens you provide to connect third-party services (stored encrypted, never displayed in full)

You retain full ownership of all business data in your account. We do not use your data to train AI models or share it with other tenants.

Payment Information

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card details. We may receive and store billing name, address, last four digits of your card, and transaction history.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Process your payments and manage your subscription
  • Generate AI-powered content, outreach emails, and lead scoring on your behalf

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate ConnectEngine OS:

Supabase

Authentication, database, and file storage. Processes your email, account data, and business data.

Anthropic (Claude)

AI content generation. Generates outreach emails, content rewrites, and lead scoring analysis.

AIML API

AI image generation for content visuals. Processes text prompts to generate images.

Apify

Lead discovery. Searches public business directories (Google Maps, Shopify, Etsy) for business information.

Hunter.io

Email verification. Verifies and discovers business email addresses from public sources.

Instantly.ai

Email delivery. Sends outreach emails you approve through your connected sending account.

Stripe

Payment processing. Handles your payment information and subscription billing securely.

Cloudflare

CDN, DNS, and bot protection. Provides security and performance for our web application.

Hetzner

Server hosting. Our application infrastructure is hosted on Hetzner servers in Europe.

5. AI Processing Transparency

What is sent to AI providers: Business lead data (company names, websites, publicly available information) and text prompts are transmitted to AI services for content generation, email drafting, and scoring. Product images or uploaded files are not sent to AI providers unless explicitly triggered by you.

What is NOT shared: Your personal account information, payment details, integration credentials, or data belonging to other tenants are never sent to AI providers.

No training on your data: ConnectEngine LLC does not use your business data, generated content, or any associated data to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI models. Your content is processed solely to deliver the service to you.

6. Multi-Tenant Data Isolation

ConnectEngine OS is a multi-tenant platform. Each client account is fully isolated at the database level using Row Level Security (RLS). No client can access, view, or modify another client's data. All queries are scoped to your account, and cross-tenant access is technically prevented at the infrastructure level.

7. Cookies and Tracking

Essential Cookies

Required for authentication, security, and basic website functionality. These cannot be disabled.

We do not currently use analytics or marketing cookies. If this changes, we will update this policy and provide opt-out options.

8. Data Storage and Security

  • All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections
  • Integration credentials are stored encrypted and never displayed in full
  • Row Level Security (RLS) enforces tenant isolation at the database level
  • Access to production systems is restricted and logged
  • Regular security reviews and updates

Your data may be stored and processed in the European Union (server infrastructure) and other jurisdictions depending on the third-party service provider.

9. Data Retention and Deletion

  • Account data: Retained while your account is active and for 30 days after cancellation
  • Business data: Leads, outreach records, and content are retained until you delete them or close your account
  • Payment records: Retained as required by tax and financial regulations

10. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
